This Refund Policy describes Our policies and procedures on processing your refunds when you use our platform.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Refund Policy:
Application means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by You on any electronic device, named Taxidriverduty app
⇒ Company(referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Taxidriverduty.com.
⇒ Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
⇒ Driver refers to a user who have accepted taxi booking over our platform
⇒ Agent refers to a user who have posted a booking over our platform.
⇒ Cancellation refers to a practice where either agent or driver have cancelled the booking
⇒ You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Refund refers to the amount that will be payable back to the driver in case booking is cancelled Booking Cancellation Rights
Driver or Agent can cancel a booking anytime before driver is available at the pick up location and agent or driver have clicked - “Pickup Ride”. Post clicking upon pickup ride no booking cancellation can be done.
Refund Policy in case of Cancellation -
Booking Cancellation by agent - If a booking is cancelled by agents device before pickup by the driver all amount paid by the driver will be instantly refunded back to the driver.
Booking Cancellation by Driver - In Case booking is cancelled by driver before pickup than an amount of not more than 50% of the total amount paid by the driver is deducted as cancellation charges. And an mount of around 30% to 50% is divided between agent and driver depending upon the circumstances of booking cancellation.
You are advised to review this Refund Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Refund Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
The refund request will be processed within 7-15 working days from Taxidriverduty and it will be credited to beneficiary account as per the bank standard refund policies.
